The 25-year-old, who has completed a summer transfer from Aston Villa to Juventus, is currently away with her country on Euro 2025 qualification duty. The Swiss squad have been soaking up some sun prior to facing Turkey on Friday.

The mood in the Switzerland camp is light and jovial, with Lehmann playing her part in keeping spirits high. She spent most of her break between the end of the 2023-24 WSL campaign and returning to international action following boyfriend Douglas Luiz at the 2024 Copa America.

Lehmann passed through Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco during her tour of the United States, but is now back in Europe as her focus narrows on important matters with club and country. She is prepared to have a bit of fun along the way, with her inability to complete a ball-juggling exercise delivering “laughs and smiles under the sun”.

Lehmann will be back alongside partner Luiz next season, as he has also swapped life in England at Aston Villa for that with Italian giants Juventus. He suffered quarter-final heartache with Brazil in Copa action, but will be looking forward to taking on a new challenge at domestic level.
