Three Real Madrid players - Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Lucas Vazquez - had to leave the pitch in pain during the club's 4-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday. The Brazilian defender's injury has hurt the team the most as he has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after rupturing his ACL yet again.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Madrid have been plagued with injuries to several key players already during the 2024-25 campaign. Relevo reports that several players are unhappy with the training methods of fitness coach Pintus, with many reportedly believing the Italian's methods are not appropriate for footballers - some even refer to Pintus as an 'athlete trainer'.
DID YOU KNOW?
The report, however, also claims that Pintus has the backing of club president Florentino Perez because, during his regime, the Spanish champions have won five Champions League titles and several other trophies.

WHAT NEXT FOR REAL MADRID?
Carlo Ancelotti will hope that Rodrygo and Vazquez recover during the international break and come back to action in their next La Liga clash against Leganes on November 24. Three days later, they face an in-form Liverpool in the Champions League.
