Thomas Tuchel makes Bruno Fernandes demand as Bayern coach prepares to make final decision on his future

In February, Tuchel and Bayern announced that they would be parting ways at the end of the season. However, with the Bavarians failing to attract any of their preferred choices to take over from the German, it has now been reported that Tuchel may sign a new deal with Der Rekordmeister to keep him at the club at least for another season. However, he has two demands that, if Bayern reject them, will tempt Tuchel to not sign on the dotted line.

As reported by The Independent, the former Chelsea boss has asked the club to undertake the signing of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. There have been reports of the Portuguese attacking midfielder being unsettled at Old Trafford this season, and that would play very well for Bayern as they may lose Jamal Musiala in the near future with Manchester City very interested in the German's services.

The second demand from Tuchel is a top defensive midfielder. The 50-year-old believes that the pivotal point in Bayern's season was when they failed to sign Fulham's Joao Palhinha on last summer's deadline day. Tuchel wants to avoid the same this season and wants a pivot to be brought in as soon as possible.

It now seems likely that Bayern will make a massive U-turn this summer and announce the renewal of Tuchel, despite having claimed otherwise multiple times this month. However, the renewal could entirely depend on Bayern's position on Tuchel's demands for the upcoming transfer window.
