    The Red Devils will have the chance to secure major silverware and qualification for the 2025-26 Champions League when facing domestic rivals Tottenham at San Mames Stadium in Bilbao on May 21.

    Success there would give them cause for celebration, as a loyal fan base is given something to cheer, but Amorim concedes that more is expected of him in the most demanding of roles - with United sat 15th in the Premier League table.

    Amorim told TNT Sports after seeing United beat Athletic Club 4-1 at Old Trafford to wrap up a comfortable 7-1 aggregate victory in the Europa League semi-finals: "It's the least we can do for these fans, for the support they have given us in this tough season.

    "I'm stressed already because of the final. If we don't do it, it means nothing, but we're happy to be there so let's see. I know I should be a better manager and the team should be better at this moment but we're trying. We did quite well in Europe but we are struggling in the Premier League."
