Revealed: Mason Greenwood sale terms as Man Utd wait on ‘best proposal’ for Juventus & Napoli transfer target

The 22-year-old forward caught the eye for Getafe in 2023-24 during a productive stint in Spain. He collected Player of the Year honours with his loan employers, after posting double figures for goals scored, and is now being linked with clubs across Europe.

Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Borussia Dortmund have all been credited with interest in the one-cap England international. Serie A giants in Turin are considered to be leading that chase, with a substantial offer said to be on the table.

They want to sell Mason Greenwood and my information is that it could be a loan with obligation to buy, so it could be that kind of formula – a potential loan move with buy obligation not option. Let’s see what’s going to happen but there are many possibilities around Mason Greenwood, and Man United will take the time to pick the best proposal. There is interest from Juventus but they have to sell at least one offensive player before they can land the player.”

West Ham may have a part to play there, with Romano confirming that the Hammers are keen on Juve winger Matias Soule – and any deal for the Argentine forward would see funds raised in Italy that can be reinvested in Greenwood.
