GettyPSG transfer window 'far from over' as Luis Campos addresses Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye amid Liverpool interest
Campos delivers clear market warning
Campos addressed the media to clarify the club's strategy before the transfer window closes on September 1. Speaking candidly about the final days of the market, the PSG advisor confirmed that the club are actively evaluating further squad adjustments.
"The transfer window is far from over, it's still open. Between now and the end, on the arrivals side, if we find a good opportunity, we'll take it. It's like that every year. I remind you what happened last year with Gigio Donnarumma (who left for Manchester City on September 2nd), it was really late," Campos declared to Ligue 1+.

Liverpool have set their sights on both Barcola and teenage prospect Mbaye as Andoni Iraola looks to bolster his attacking options at Anfield. Barcola enjoyed a breakout campaign in the French capital, establishing himself as one of Europe's most dynamic wide forwards.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old Mbaye has drawn significant praise for his rapid development through the academy ranks, sparking interest from several Premier League sides seeking long-term attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
The attacking pair were both left out of PSG's squad for Sunday's Ligue 1 opener against Rennes, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Their continued absence follows their omission from the squad for the Trophée des Champions defeat to Lens and the UEFA Super Cup victory over Aston Villa just days earlier.
PSG stand firm on Barcola and Mbaye
Despite persistent speculation over a potential double swoop from Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain are under no pressure to part ways with either Barcola or Mbaye. Luis Enrique views Barcola as an important part of his plans, while the club considers Mbaye a key prospect for the future. Campos remained coy when asked about the pair, saying: "You mentioned (Bradley) Barcola and (Ibrahim) Mbaye, we'll see what happens."
Talks with Liverpool are ongoing, with the Reds having already seen an offer for Barcola rejected by PSG. Discussions remain ongoing and another bid for the France international is expected, while negotiations over Mbaye are also taking place. PSG are reportedly demanding around €70m for the Senegalese winger, a figure Liverpool are currently unwilling to meet.
AFPWhat's next for PSG
Paris Saint-Germain will now look to improve their early-season form while continuing to work on their transfer plans before the window closes. In Barcola's absence, the Parisians began the season by losing the French Super Cup to Lens before being held to a hard-fought 2-2 draw by Rennes in their Ligue 1 opener. Their second league fixture will see them face Lille on August 2.
With Campos continuing to oversee transfer negotiations, PSG are expected to remain active in the market while resisting Liverpool's approaches for Barcola and Mbaye before the September 1 deadline.
