In an Instagram story, Palmer revealed some private messages he had exchanged with close friend and fellow England international Rogers in the lead-up to the game. The Chelsea man predicted he would get man of the match when Villa visited Stamford Bridge on Sunday and he was proven right off the back of the 3-0 win, where he bagged the third and final goal.
