Sky Sports claims that Tottenham have stepped up their interest in Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo, but United also remain admirers of the 25-year-old. The Bees winger is still the Red Devils 'priority' target, and Spurs want him as well, but they are keeping their options open in case that pursuit fails.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
United are in the process of rebuilding their attack ahead of next season after signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million, and if they were able to add Mbeumo or Semenyo, that would be a big boost. But after failing to secure European football next season, following their Europa League final loss to Tottenham, they are at risk of losing their top targets to rival sides.
DID YOU KNOW?
Semenyo, who played as a left winger, a right winger, and as a centre-forward this season, scored 13 goals and added seven assists in 40 appearances for Bournemouth in 2024/25. Mbeumo, on the other hand, scored 20 goals in the Premier League this term.

WHAT NEXT?
United may return for an improved offer for Mbeumo after their first bid of £55 million ($74.6m) was rejected earlier this month. Semenyo, on the other hand, could cost more than that as a big summer transfer window lies ahead.
