Juventus & Atletico Madrid face Mason Greenwood competition! New club join transfer race for Man Utd-owned forward as interest builds across Europe

The one-cap England international is registering on the recruitment radar of leading sides across Europe after enjoying a productive loan spell at Getafe in 2023-24. He has posted eight goals and six assists in La Liga this season, while also finding the target on a couple of occasions in the Copa del Rey.

There has been talk of Atletico and Barcelona looking to keep him in Spanish football, while Serie A giants Juve are exploring the possibility of luring Greenwood to Italy. They are, however, not the only side in that part of the world to be piecing together such plans.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli are mulling over an approach for Greenwood as they prepare to freshen up their attacking ranks. The 22-year-old’s versatility appeals to them, as he can operate on either flank or down the middle.

The expectation is that United will sanction a permanent deal this summer – scuppering Getafe’s hopes of putting another loan agreement in place – but it remains to be seen where Greenwood ends up and what his asking price is set at, as mounting interest pushes that figure ever higher.
