Amid rumours of leaving Brazil, the 32-year-old teased the idea of returning to Everton on social media. On an Instagram post shared by Everton Hub - which talked about the player's current situation in the Brazilian Serie A - Rodriguez left a comment.

In the caption of their Instagram post, Everton Hub wrote, "Come home @jamesrodriguez10". In response, the player commented, "Last dance?"

The Toffees will play their final game of the season on Sunday as they take on title aspirants Arsenal in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium.
