    The United States men's national team star and Colorado Rapids goalkeeper had a brain fade moment early into the game as he tried to kick away a long ball pass from the opposition. However, instead of clearing the ball convincingly, he kicked it too low and straight into Gabriel Pec who had an empty net in front of him. The youngster did not make a mistake in finding the back of the net and in the process breaking the deadlock in the eighth minute for LA.

    LA Galaxy eventually clinched the clash 4-1 as former Barcelona star Riqui Puig scored a brace after regulation time. They marched on to the next round of playoffs after beating the Pids 9-1 on aggregate. In the Conference semi-finals, LA will meet the winners of Real Salt Lake and Minnesota United clash.
