World Cup winner <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/next-galactico-kylian-mbappe-five-years-real-madrid-france-international-premier-league-move-psg/blt1790a2667c62e814" target="_blank">Mbappe is expected to make his way to Santiago Bernabeu</a> when reaching the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain. The France international is heading towards free agency and has made no secret of the fact that he would like to represent the Blancos.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Real’s famed ‘Galacticos’ recruitment policy could also see them <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/200m-real-madrid-erling-haaland-transfer-cost-warning-prediction-man-city-galactico-kylian-mbappe/blt1ca471e2b9ab5948" target="_blank">move for prolific Norwegian striker Haaland</a> at some stage, as there are said to be <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/what-release-clause-erling-haaland-contract-man-city-striker-agent-responds-real-madrid-transfer-master-of-destiny/blt0e63be6a60a82046" target="_blank">exit clauses in his terms at Manchester City</a>. La Liga president Javier Tebas is, however, not convinced that an agreement can be reached there.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Tebas, speaking at the ISC congress organised by ISDE, has said of transfer business in the Spanish capital: “I would like to see the best in our competitions. I give Mbappe a 99.99% chance that he will play next season for Real Madrid. Haaland is more complicated. He has been at City for a short time to consider leaving.”

WHAT TEBAS SAID ABOUT HAALAND

Blancos president Florentino Perez is a man accustomed to getting what he wants, and Tebas added on his battles with the Real chief when it comes to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/real-madrid-barcelona-celebrate-new-european-super-league-ruling/bltfc3f02bb98a5abb1" target="_blank">European Super League proposals</a> and CVC deals: “I defend myself as best I can. Florentino is transversal. With [Silvio] Berlusconi we knew he was right-wing, here Florentino is with everyone. He has a lot of influence, too much... That's not good for the country or for football.”
