Will Chloe Kelly join Man Utd?! Red Devils boss Marc Skinner responds to shock transfer speculation with Lioness' exit from Man City gathering momentum
Kelly was left out of the City squad for the weekend's Manchester derby, during which United ran out 4-2 winners at the Etihad Stadium, though manager Gareth Taylor claimed this was due to an ankle problem. Red Devils boss Skinner has now had his chance to speak on the winger, and though he did not necessarily play up these reports, he didn't shoot them down either.

WHAT SKINNER SAID
When asked if he could shed any light on links to Kelly, Skinner told 90min: "I'm sure you can expect my answer, we don't talk about other team's players.
"We've always said at Manchester United that if it's the right person at the right time, that fits this unique group of teammates then we can look to try and do business. The winter window is notoriously a little bit more difficult to do work in, but the reality is we are always on the lookout. The team are always working hard at recruiting."

Reports have claimed Kelly is actually fit and has not been suffering from injury, so it will be interesting to see whether she is part of the City side to take on United away from home in the Women's League Cup on Wednesday night. Taylor suggested at a pre-match press conference he will make a late decision on her availability.
