    THE BIGGER PICTURE

According to The Independent, Arsenal's interest in signing Sterling from Chelsea is seen as too complicated to complete, with the winger's £350,000-a-week wages proving problematic.

However, when Mikel Arteta was quizzed on Friday about any potential deal he refused to close the door and said: "Let's see, it's always possible. In the last 24 hours of the transfer window, never rule out anything. I cannot talk about a player of another team."
