GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Marinakis currently owns three clubs across Europe, with the 57-year-old having stakes in Greek side Olympiacos and Rio Ave in Portugal as well as Nottingham Forest. Therefore, Edu would potentially be assisting Marinakis at all three clubs instead of just Forest specificially.

It is currently unclear whether an official approach has been made to Edu, or whether the Brazilian would have to relinquish his role at Arsenal should he take up Marinakis' offer. However, any speculation could prove disruptive to Arsenal in the midst of the summer transfer window.
