'About last night' - Alisha Lehmann shares upbeat reaction despite being limited to 10-minute cameo in Switzerland's clash with Turkey

The Juventus forward has again linked up with her international teammates after an eventful summer break which saw her travel to Brazil and the United States to spend time with boyfriend Douglas Luiz. Lehmann spent the bulk of the time on the bench as her teammates secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Turkey.

After an intense first half, Switzerland took the lead through Sydney Schertenleib in the 5th minute. Seven minutes later they struck again when Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic scored her 72nd international goal. Soon after, Crnogorcevic was taken off by the manager which allowed Lehmann to take the pitch for the final 10 minutes of the match.

Lehmann was not disappointed after she was reduced to a substitute and instead rejoiced in the victory of her team by sharing pictures of her pre-match preparation on social media.

Lehmann would hope to return to the starting XI when Switzerland host Azerbaijan in their next UEFA European Championship qualification on Tuesday.
