The pair allegedly ended their relationship in late 2022 but <a href="https://www.goal.com/lists/alisha-lehmann-douglas-luiz-back-together-aston-villa-duo-cosy-glamorous-photos-new-year-split-calendar-feud/bltfc62bdd2067dc3e3#cs4d5fdd5a00c219af" target="_blank">rekindled their lost romance at the beginning of 2024.</a>

It seems that Luiz did not get much time for celebrations on May 9 as Aston Villa were scheduled to play Olympiacos in Greece on the same day in a Europa Conference League match. However, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/toothless-aston-villa-european-dreams-unai-emery-tired-villans-stunned-olympiacos-europa-conference-league-ayoub-el-kaabi/blta91b7e50ba8255e9" target="_blank">after a disappointing outing in Europe</a>, the birthday festivities should have helped to cheer him up.
