Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed that teenage forward Kerim Alajbegovic is in line for increased playing time during Thursday night's Europa League trip to AZ. The 19-year-old Bosnian talent earned his manager's trust after opening his Serie A account in Sunday's 2-0 home triumph over Napoli.
Ajax narrowly reclaimed second place in the Eredivisie following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over AZ Alkmaar at the Johan Cruijff Arena. Tolu Arokodare's first-half header proved decisive as the Amsterdammers ended a 12-match winless run against their bogey team despite losing Julian Brandt to injury.
