VIDEO: Mason Greenwood in the groove as five-goal Marseille star finds top corner with ease during international break training session

The one-cap England international has enjoyed a dream start to his stint in France after completing a £27 million ($35m) transfer from Old Trafford. Greenwood settled quickly in new surroundings, with goals beginning to flow in pre-season friendlies.

That form has been carried into the 2024-25 Ligue 1 campaign, with the 22-year-old forward finding the target in all three of his appearances in the French top-flight. He has five efforts to his name and a couple of Man of the Match awards.

Greenwood is among those still in the Marseille camp during the September international break. He is not being considered for selection by England and is yet to switch allegiance to Jamaica – amid talk of him joining the ranks that former United coach Steve McClaren is now overseeing.

Greenwood is keeping his eye in ahead of a return to competitive action, with one stunning strike fired into the top corner with his right foot during a session in the sunshine. Marseille’s next outing will see them play host to Nice on September 14.
