Arsenal Lionesses Leah Williamson, Alessia Russo and Beth Mead have been rubbing shoulders with Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis in the United States.

WHAT HAPPENED?
The Gunners, who are readying themselves for the start of the 2024-25 WSL campaign, are in America as part of their pre-season programme. They are set to face domestic rivals Chelsea in Washington DC, having already tackled NWSL side Spirit in the US capital.

THE GOSSIP
It was when taking in that friendly fixture that Jonas Eidevall’s squad got to meet Sudeikis – who played fictional coach Lasso in the popular Apple TV series. He was all smiles when posing for pictures with Williamson, Russo and Mead.
