WHAT HAPPENED?
The Bundesliga giants, who failed to defend their league title this season, registered consecutive wins in two different competitions in the current week. After edging out Arsenal 1-0 in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash to book a semi-final berth, on Saturday they thrashed Union Berlin 5-1 with Kane scoring from a brilliant free-kick.

After the thumping win away from home, the Bayern star shared a photograph from the match on Instagram with a caption that read, "Very good week for us! Nice to sign it off with a free kick. Let’s keep this momentum going."

With the strike against Union Berlin, the England forward is now 10 goals away from breaking Robert Lewandowski's record of scoring the most number of goals (41) in a Bundesliga season. The 30-year-old has scored 32 league goals in his maiden season in Germany and has provided nine assists.
