‘Can you buy Harry Kane back?’ - Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou gives heartwarming response to young fan asking for return of Bayern Munich forward

Kane swapped Spurs for Bayern last summer and since then he has been a roaring success for the German side, scoring 28 goals in 27 games in all competitions. The striker goes down as a club legend and, naturally, many still miss him at the north London outfit. And when one young Tottenham supporter asked Spurs boss Postecoglou if he could bring back the 30-year-old, the Australian gave a classy answer.

When asked on TNT Sports if he could buy Kane back, Postecoglou laughed and replied: "Well, it would be great if I could but the beauty of Harry is that everything he has done at this football club will remain forever. Even though Harry is not with us now, he will always be part of this football club."

While Spurs were sorry to lose talisman Kane, they still pocketed £82 million ($100m) and used those funds to breath fresh life into Postecoglou's side, who sit fourth in the Premier League table. The England captain is flourishing at Bayern and the move has worked out for all parties.

Tottenham drew with Everton 2-2 earlier today in the Premier League and, after facing Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday, Bayern will take on Bayer Leverkusen next weekend.
