<p>Messi joined MLS side Inter Miami last summer, but the move did not stop him from winning an eighth Ballon d'Or in October. 2023 saw <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/player/harry-kane/b9g4qurpll4wizajo95c406hh" target="_blank">Kane</a> leave Tottenham for Bayern Munich, where he has scored 25 goals in 22 appearances.</p><p>Instead of picking Messi and Kane, Lehmann went with an attacking trident of Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Jr and Erling Haaland.</p>
