Equally complicated is the situation involving Vlahovic. The Serbian striker, who has been sidelined for the last six months of the season, has been in a deep stalemate for some time now in negotiations to renew his contract, which expires in 2026. His net salary is too high an obstacle to overcome, given that the player and his entourage have repeatedly rejected any attempt to spread it over several seasons to reduce the burden on the balance sheet.
Hence the need to find a solution, but to date – apart from an offer from Fenerbahce – no top foreign club has shown concrete interest in the Serbian striker. Milan remain in the background, thanks to Massimiliano Allegri's approval, who would gladly return to work with him.
