Trofeo de Campeones Overview

Arsenal are on the verge of securing the long-term future of Declan Rice with a lucrative new contract offer that reflects his status as a cornerstone of the project. The England international is expected to see his salary surge to match the club's highest earners following years of commanding performances at the heart of the team in North London.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Switzerland defender Ramon Vega has officially announced his intention to challenge current president Gianni Infantino in the upcoming FIFA presidential elections. Vega is the very first candidate to publicly declare a run against Infantino, capitalising on growing dissatisfaction among European federations regarding the governing body's leadership.

A rare scenario possible next season

Former manager Pep Guardiola will make his first return to the Etihad Stadium next week when Manchester City host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. The Catalan coach plans to attend the highly anticipated European fixture in a firm show of solidarity with the reigning champions, following the recent guilty verdict over their historical financial charges.
