'We'll see what happens!' - Pep Guardiola drops cryptic update on Savinho's future amid Tottenham interest in Brazil winger and reports of €80m bid

Amid reports of Tottenham being primed to launch an €80m offer for Savinho, City boss Guardiola has kept his cards close to his chest on whether or not the winger will exit the Etihad this month. 

When asked about the possible exits of Savinho and team-mate Manuel Akanji, he said, via Fabrizio Romano: "I don't know about that. They are our players, and we'll see what happens. I think a few things are going to happen, and we'll see."

After Arsenal hijacked Tottenham's move for Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze, Tottenham are determined to secure a statement signing before the transfer window shuts on September 1. Savinho, who has been on the fringes of the first-team in 2025, only joined City last year but he could end up leaving for more than double the amount they bought him for from Troyes.

Guardiola's City take on Savinho's rumoured suitors, Tottenham, at the Etihad in the Premier League on Saturday. The former Girona loanee will not feature in this game ahead of a possible switch to the north London team.
