  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Bayern were completely outplayed by Leverkusen and looked short of ideas as the league leaders romped to a 3-0 victory. WHAT DREESEN SAID

Speaking to Sky Germany, Dreesen said: "Nothing has changed [with Tuchel staying].

"We knew it would be a difficult game but now we have to look ahead. Deserved defeat, but we won't give up.“

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite heavy investment in the summer, Tuchel's side have struggled for consistency and their usual ruthless edge. Even with a record-breaking Harry Kane in their side, the German champions have been left chasing a still unbeaten Leverkusen. A change of management may have crossed the Bayern hierarchy's minds but they are yet to pull the trigger on Tuchel.

Even though he has been given a public vote of confidence, Tuchel will know he and his side have to improve if they are to have even a glimmer of hope of winning the Bundesliga. They switch focus to the Champions League on Wednesday as they face Lazio.
