THE BIGGER PICTURE
The report adds that United have also agreed on a separate deal with the Bavarian club for the transfer of their right-back Mazraoui. The Premier League giants have agreed to pay €15m (£12m/$15m) plus €5m (£4m/$5m) in bonuses. However, the deal is subject to Aaron Wan-Bissaka moving out of Old Trafford this summer who is all set to join West Ham.
The reigning FA Cup champions will play their first competitive match of the new season on Saturday as they take on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley.
