Lauryn Goodman to join Kyle Walker in Middle East?! Ex-Love Island star planning move to Dubai amid Saudi Pro League transfer links for Man City defender

Manchester City defender Walker has fathered two children with former Love Island contestant Goodman. That extramarital activity has placed considerable strain on his relationship with wife and long-time partner Annie Kilner.

There were suggestions in the autumn of 2024 that Kilner had filed for divorce, as Walker faced the threat of losing half of his supposed £27 million ($34m) fortune, but the couple spent Christmas together alongside their four children and are working on rebuilding their marriage.

Talk of Walker heading to Saudi Arabia, amid struggles for form at Premier League champions City, would have seen him step out of the public spotlight in England and away from Goodman. It is, however, being claimed that the 33-year-old Celebs Go Dating star is considering her own move to Dubai.

A source has told Closer: “Lauryn wants to go to Dubai for many reasons. The reality is that a lot has changed for her. She isn’t as close with her sisters and doesn’t speak to one of them at all, so has been looking at Dubai as a potential move. She just feels it’s the best option for them to grow as a family, as it’s a place they all love to visit and they have so many lovely memories over there already.

“Lauryn hasn’t really thought about how it would work with Kyle. A move to Dubai would no doubt put him under a bit of pressure. But Lauryn gave up so much of her time trying to sustain a relationship with him for their children due to his football commitments, that she is mindful not to put his needs at the forefront again.”

The insider went on to say of Goodman’s strained relationship with Walker: “Lauryn is keeping tight-lipped about whether she has contact with Kyle. After the year she’s had, she wants to try to keep things as private as possible.

“She has tried her best throughout the year to shield their children from any heartache, but she could only do so much. A lot has happened between Kyle and Lauryn. Deep down, they know they can trust each other when other people aren’t involved.”

Walker still has 18 months left to run on his contract in Manchester, but a freshening up of Pep Guardiola’s squad is expected at the Etihad Stadium this summer. That could free 34-year-old Walker to join the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia – with Al-Nassr said to be one of three clubs in that region that have expressed interest in doing a deal.
