David Ginola 'will never meet granddaughter' as pregnant daughter claims ex-Newcastle & Spurs star 'isn't treating us right'

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Joy Pinquier claimed that Ginola did not want to meet or have anything to do with her unborn child. She claims that the former footballer congratulated her on the breaking of the news but has since cut off contact after sending him a photo of the ultrasound.

She said: "I'm so happy to become a mum, but I am worried about our future. I doubt my dad will get to know my daughter as he doesn't seem to have any interest in either of us. I would like for them to build a bond, but I can't force him to do the right thing."

Ginola played for four different Premier League sides after departing Paris Saint-Germain. He made 58 appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle before moving to Spurs where he reached 100 games in the league for the club. He then played for Aston Villa and Everton before hanging up his boots.

Ginola's former clubs Spurs and Newcastle are chasing a return to the Champions League after both sides missed out last campaign. Spurs take on West Ham while the Magpies host Brighton after the international break.
