Sevilla manager Luis Garcia Plaza has launched a scathing attack on the officiating following his side's 4-1 loss to Real Madrid, claiming the referee "robbed" his team of a fair chance. The angry coach insisted that Arda Guler should have been sent off for an off-the-ball incident early in the first half, and believes a conspiracy may be at play to ensure Los Blancos remain in peak condition for the upcoming El Clasico showdown
Real Madrid produced one of their most dominant displays of the season to dismantle Sevilla 4-1, but the headlines belong to teenage sensation Yan Diomande. The Ivory Coast international enjoyed a historic night at the Bernabeu, cementing his status as one of the most exciting young talents in world football by breaking a Jude Bellingham record.
Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho offered a candid assessment of Yan Diomande after the youngster recorded an assist and a solo goal against Sevilla. Mourinho acknowledged the pressure on the winger while comparing his development path to Vinicius Junior.
Jose Mourinho has dismissed allegations that Arda Guler should have been sent off during Real Madrid's comprehensive victory over Sevilla. The Portuguese manager insisted he had not seen any footage of the alleged elbow on Gerard Fernandez, accusing his counterpart of deflecting from the final result.
Real Madrid centre-back Dean Huijsen expressed satisfaction with the team's defensive shape and ball distribution during their 4-1 win over Sevilla. Huijsen highlighted the squad's unity after limiting the visitors to minimal clear-cut chances.
