Qatar U23 Overview

The Italian side bounced back from disaster to end Ajax’s European dominance, but questions would soon be raised about the legitimacy of the victory

Napoli assistant coach Marco Landucci has dismissed talk of a crisis after Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Juventus left the Partenopei sitting eighth in the Serie A table. Deputising for suspended boss Massimiliano Allegri on the touchline, the stand-in chief insisted his depleted squad are disappointed rather than worried right now.

Luciano Spalletti has issued a rallying cry to the Juventus faithful, urging supporters to stand behind the team rather than turning the Allianz Stadium into a toxic environment. Despite securing a crucial 2-0 victory over rivals Napoli, the Bianconeri boss was quick to address the mounting tension between the stands and the pitch following recent poor results.

Luciano Spalletti got the better of the club he once led to the Scudetto as Juventus beat Napoli 2-0 at the Allianz Stadium, with Kerim Alajbegovic and substitute Jeremie Boga both scoring from outside the box. The win lifted Juventus above their visitors, who had arrived level on 14 points, and extended their run of home clean sheets against Napoli to four matches.
