Former Manchester United midfielder Fred is set to return to his roots after agreeing a permanent move to Brazilian giants Atletico Mineiro. The experienced playmaker will depart Turkish side Fenerbahce to head back to the club where his footballing journey first began as a teenager.

Romelu Lukaku has officially brought his time in Serie A to an end after Napoli agreed to sell the Belgian striker to Fenerbahce. The 33-year-old marksman is set to fly to Istanbul this evening to finalise a move that sees him join an increasingly star-studded squad in the Super Lig.

Napoli have agreed a deal to sell Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to Turkish giants Fenerbahce for €6 million plus bonuses. The 33-year-old forward has already passed his medical and agreed a contract worth €10m per season ahead of his move to Istanbul.

Fenerbahce have taken the lead in the race to sign Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth during the summer transfer window. The Turkish giants are keen to bolster their attacking options, while the Spanish club could use the sale to facilitate an ambitious swoop for free agent Dusan Vlahovic.
