TSV Aubstadt Overview

Frank Lampard has been named EFL Championship Manager of the Season following his role in guiding Coventry City to promotion. The award serves as validation for a campaign that saw Coventry consistently defy expectations and outpace traditional heavyweights in the division. By winning the title, the former Chelsea midfielder has brought to an end a painful 25-year exile from the top flight of English football.

Tottenham Hotspur’s nightmare season has reached a new low after the north London club became the target of ridicule from fans in League One over the weekend. Spurs currently find themselves languishing in 16th place in the Premier League table, sitting a precarious single point above the relegation zone. This dismal form has turned the club into a laughing stock for rival fanbases across the English football pyramid.

Chelsea star Malo Gusto delivered a brutal verdict on their Carabao Cup win against Lincoln and admitted that Enzo Maresca's side were "bullied" by the minnows. The Blues found themselves on the wrong end of a League One masterclass in the opening 45 minutes, trailing 1-0 and struggling to force a single shot on target at the LNER Stadium.

Tyrique George saved Chelsea's blushes with a goal and an assist but goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen had a shocker in the absence of Robert Sanchez. The Blues came from a goal down to knock Lincoln City out of the Carabao Cup with a 2-1 third round win but the Club World Cup champions were given a real scare. There will be plenty to ponder for Enzo Maresca, especially after a wretched first half.
