Milan's draw at Juventus on Sunday kept them in the hunt at the top of Serie A, but the result exposed real limitations in Amorim's squad. A goal from substitute Alpha Cissé gave the visitors the lead, only for Federico Gatti to equalise in the closing minutes. Milan sit fourth with seven points from three games, one behind the early leaders.

The bigger worry for Amorim is the absence of Christian Pulisic. The American has not played a single minute this season, and after the Juventus match the manager was direct about it, saying Pulisic simply cannot play right now. Pulisic had been one of Milan's most influential players through the first half of last season, so losing him at this stage leaves a significant gap in the attacking third.

That gap was visible at the Allianz Stadium. Amorim tried pushing Adrien Rabiot further forward, but the experiment did not work. Alexis Saelemaekers offered little, and Diego Moreira struggled on debut. The only genuine spark came from Cissé off the bench, which points to a squad that currently lacks reliable creativity behind Gonçalo Ramos.

With Lazio away on Saturday, Amorim needs answers quickly. The squad has the results to feel positive about, but without Pulisic and with no consistent performer in the number ten role, Milan's attacking play remains a concern that one promising substitute cannot solve alone.
