Shonan Bellmare Overview

Arsenal are preparing to launch negotiations over an extended deal for first-choice goalkeeper David Raya despite the Spaniard recently admitting he would like to play in his homeland one day. Meanwhile, neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid are expected to make an imminent move for the 31-year-old shot-stopper in upcoming transfer windows.

Arsenal have suffered a significant setback in their efforts to protect teenage sensation Max Dowman after an independent commission dismissed their appeal against his recent red card. The 16-year-old attacker was sent off during a frustrating Carabao Cup evening for the Gunners, and the club's attempt to overturn the decision has officially fallen flat.

Jamie Redknapp has strongly criticised Mikel Arteta for his aggressive touchline reaction towards Max Dowman following the teenager's red card against Fleetwood Town. He insisted that the Arsenal manager should have waited until the dressing room to confront the young forward.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has praised the success of the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Baku after watching 189 member associations compete in a revamped eight-a-side format. Serving as FIFA's Chief of Global Football Development, the Frenchman believes the event bridges the gap between emerging and established nations.
