The Hollywood superstar, who is basking in the success of his latest Deadpool & Wolverine release, is fully invested in a Welsh sporting project that he shares with fellow co-owner Rob McElhenney. They are regular visitors to North Wales and always keep up to date with events from afar when they cannot travel to the United Kingdom.

Wrexham are enjoying a week off at present, with their League One meeting with Lincoln City postponed due to international call-ups in the Imps’ ranks. That means there is no live action for Reynolds and McElhenney to tune into during another push for promotion from Phil Parkinson’s squad.

Reynolds has taken the opportunity to relax and unwind with family and friends. He joined wife Lively, pop icon Swift and NFL superstar Kelce for a night out. They have been dining together, with there every chance that Wrexham figured in cross-table discussions between stars of film, music and American football.

Reynolds and McElhenney have made a point of inviting famous friends to take in the Wrexham experience – with the likes of Hugh Jackman and Will Ferrell making trips to SToK Racecourse – and there remains plenty of speculation to be found regarding a potential visit from Swift and her partner Kelce.
