WHAT HAPPENED?
The popular FX-produced series has captured the imagination of a global audience across two action-packed seasons. The most recent of those covered the Red Dragons’ record-breaking National League title triumph, while also shining a light on the club’s women’s team and stories in the local community.
There may be more celebrations to come in North Wales, with Reynolds posting on Instagram after learning that Welcome to Wrexham is also in the running for a top prize at the Producers Guild of America Awards: “Five Emmys and now this. Immensely proud of #WelcomeToWrexham and the entire crew. Particularly my fellow producers, @robmcelhenney and @grd212 who put SO MUCH LOVE into this. And huge thanks @producersguild for the recognition.”
