Sky Sports states the Saudi Pro League team's interest in the 30-year-old is not at an advanced stage at present but that could change as they are playing in the Club World Cup next month and can sign players during a special early transfer window between June 1-10.

Shortly after United's 1-0 Europa League final defeat to Spurs, Fernandes said he will stay with the club until they tell him "it's time to go". That has led to speculation he could be heading for pastures new as the Red Devils try to offload some of their players this summer to fund their warchest.
