The 31-year-old shot-stopper is accustomed to wearing shirts bearing a number one, as he has become a go-to option between the sticks for club and country. He is the undisputed first-choice at Anfield and fills the No.1 spot on Merseyside.
Alisson played the full 90 minutes when earning cap 64 for the Selecao, but did have a rather unusual number on his shirt. As the Brazilian national team are celebrating their 110th anniversary, special dispensation was granted for them to produce a unique goalkeeper jersey.
