Foster sees no reason <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/paul-mullin-hat-trick-wrexham-star-back-to-back-to-back-promotions-premier-league-dream-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney/blt652ae6e2af31092d" target="_blank">why Wrexham should not be aiming that high</a>, with the former England international rubbishing suggestions that mid-table mediocrity would be welcomed in 2024-25. He added: “No, they won’t be thinking that. I guarantee you the owners and the manager and all the coaching staff and most of the players will not be thinking about solidifying. They won’t be thinking about consolidating in that league for a year or two. They will be thinking we want to be knocking on the doors of the play-offs. A charge for the play-offs was the aim this year, make sure you’re in the top six in the ending stages of the season and they found themselves in the top three. And comfortably in the top three. It’s been an incredible season, a fantastic achievement and I hope they can do it again.”
