The 20-year-old Argentine remains on the periphery of first-team plans under manager Ruben Amorim following a fallout that has diminished his standing at the club.

Following his retirement from professional football, Tevez accepted his first job as a head coach in 2022 when he took charge at Rosario Central. Former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has opened up on moving out of his "comfort zone" and playing in a different country. Viktor Gyokeres revealed his admiration for Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim as the Sporting CP striker closes in on a move to Arsenal. Gyökeres, who joined Sporting CP from Coventry City in 2023, was brought to Portugal by Amorim and has since gone on to enjoy a meteoric rise. With the move to North London on the horizon, the Swedish international has looked back fondly on his time under Amorim’s guidance.
Former Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is reportedly in talks with Newcastle United over a free transfer. Calvert-Lewin has also been strongly linked with Manchester United after bringing the curtain down on his nine-year spell at Everton. Newcastle, who have secured Champions League qualification for the 2025-26 season, are looking for Alexander Isak's deputy.
