Arsenal have reportedly struck a deal worth over £50 million ($67.8m) to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, with the England international set to sign a five-year contract at the Emirates. The 23-year-old former Tottenham academy graduate is expected to provide cover and competition for Bukayo Saka on the right flank in Mikel Arteta's setup for the upcoming season.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Noni Madueke will play in the Club World Cup semi-final against Fluminense despite being linked with a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal this summer. The winger has featured in all of the Blues' Club World Cup matches thus far, including the quarter-final win against Palmeiras, where he came on as a substitute in the second half.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca heaped praise on Noni Madueke but sent out a blunt message for the Arsenal-linked winger. The Gunners have reportedly initiated fresh round of transfer talks with Madueke's representatives as their search for a new attacker continues. The Blues reportedly value the 23-year-old England internatonal at £50 million ($68m).
Newcastle United have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Chelsea winger Noni Madueke this summer as the Blues are ready to sell the player. The West London club have been active in the summer transfer window as they have signed Liam Delap and are now close to securing transfers for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens. Once the new players join the team, they will next focus on selling several stars.
