The fourth Malaysia Super League round this month took place on Saturday, and very few surprises were produced in the six matches.

In Kuala Terengganu, JDT marched on to their fifth consecutive win in the league, inching closer to a historic fourth consecutive league title, when they trounced T-Team 6-1. The visitors' goals were scored by Gabriel Guerra (23', 59'), Mohammad Ghaddar (41'), Kunanlan Subramaniam (44'), Fadhli Shas (78') and Gonzalo Cabrera (81'), while the hosts' consolation goal was scored by Yannick N'Djeng (p. 84').

Third-placed Pahang showed fighting spirit, after news emerged earlier during the day of head coach Dollah Salleh's suspension, to record a 2-0 win over Melaka United at home. Yamil Romero opened the scoring for the Tok Gajah as early as the fifth minute, his first competitive goal for them since joining in the mid-season transfer window. But the hosts were made to wait until the second half for their second of the night, which was scored by Muhamadou Sumareh in the 51st minute. The result meant that the visitors remained second-last, in the relegation zone.

Selangor moved back up to fourth, when they edged Kelantan 1-0 at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium. The only goal of the match was scored by evergreen striker Amri Yahyah in the 20th minute, heading in Veenod Subramaniam's cross following a move that Amri himself started.

Playing at the Shah Alam Stadium due to problems with their home ground's pitch, Perak defeated Felda United 1-0. The only goal of the match came in the 11th minute, scored by Yashir Pinto. The result allowed the Bos Gaurus to trail Selangor with both tied on 27 points, while the Fighters dropped from fourth to sixth.

Strugglers PKNS FC were able to distance themselves from the relegation zone, recording a slim 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Sarawak in Kuching. Alif Haikal's 69th minute goal was all that separated the two sides, which allowed the Red Ants to move up to eighth. The Crocodiles meanwhile stayed just one spot over the relegation zone, in 10th place.
