Ronaldo has already been destroyed by Hungary this year!

Cristiano Ronaldo is a player few in the world can rival - perhaps only Lionel Messi can proclaim to be better on the pitch, but even he isn't as famous as the Real Madrid No.7 off the pitch.

Having won three Ballon d'Or trophies, three Champions League titles and an array of other silverware, it's only really international glory that has eluded Ronaldo.

On Wednesday, at 17:00 UK time, Portugal clash with Hungary knowing that defeat will eliminate them from Euro 2016.

Despite drawing their first two games against minnows Iceland and underperforming Austria, the Seleccao are expected to defeat the Group F table toppers to finish in first place.

However, Ronaldo will be wary of Hungary's underdog threat as their nation united to defeat him in the inaugural Legends World Cup in March.

The 31-year-old eliminated Brazil's Ronaldo, Italy's Paolo Maldini and Argentina's Lionel Messi en route to the final, where he faced Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas.

Ronaldo's superior popularity had no chance up against over 100,000 Hungarians, though, and he was soundly defeated.

Will Ronaldo get the better of the sleeping football giant at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, or will the spirit of Puskas lead Hungary to cause the first big elimination of the Euros?
