Real Madrid's broken Copa del Rey trophy in Spanish museum

The Copa del Rey trophy that Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos damaged in the club's victory celebrations has gone on show at the Spanish Football Federation Museum.

Video footage of Ramos dropping the trophy off the club's parade bus was shown around the world. The trophy fell five metres before being run over by the bus causing the base to be destroyed and the body to be severely dented.

Cristiano Ronaldo's injury-time winner gave Madrid a 1-0 victory over rivals Barcelona in the final.

Madrid have since been handed a replica of the King's Cup which is now on display at the Bernabeu.

The capital city outfit had failed to lift the trophy in 18 years until defeating their arch rivals this season.
