Saudi club Al-Hilal are seeking to sign Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, the Arsenal winger, during the current summer transfer window.
According to the British newspaper "The Athletic", Al-Hilal are also in talks with the 25-year-old's representatives over the proposed move.
Arsenal want around 60 million pounds sterling for Martinelli. No agreement has been reached so far, but negotiations are ongoing and the player is open to a move.
Ten days ago, The Athletic reported that Galatasaray had lodged a 45 million euro bid, worth 38.4 million pounds sterling and 51.8 million dollars, to sign Martinelli. His representatives then told the English club he had no interest in the move.
Arteta left Martinelli out of the squad for the Community Shield win over Manchester City. He was absent again on Friday for the victory over Coventry City in Arsenal's Premier League opener.
Should the Al-Hilal talks progress, Martinelli would become the Saudi club's newest attacking addition of the window, following Crysencio Summerville's arrival from West Ham United in July.
Martinelli's contract with Arsenal runs until 2027, with the club holding an option to extend the deal for a further 12 months.
Arsenal would consider selling the Brazilian for the right offer, though Martinelli is not pushing to leave.
Mikel Arteta's side have signed winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge this summer, while Leandro Trossard joined Besiktas.
