Manchester City enter talks for Turkish international Under

Turkish side Basaksehir have confirmed Manchester City are in talks over a move for youngster Cengiz Under.

After announcing the signing of Gael Clichy on Thursday, Basaksehir also said on their official website that talks had taken place with City over a possible move for the 19-year-old, although no agreement was reached.

Under made 32 league appearances for Basaksehir last season, scoring seven goals and assisting five as the club secured a Champions League spot with a surprise second-place finish in the Turkish Super Lig.

The attacking midfielder's performances last season earned him a call-up to the Turkey national team, and Under has two goals in four caps for the senior side.

In addition to City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been credited with an interest in Under.

City have also announced Rubén Sobrino, who played last season on loan at Alaves, will now join the Spanish side on a permanent deal.
