Turkish side Besiktas are set to bolster their attack with the signing of Burak Yilmaz, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Yilmaz, 33, currently stars for Besiktas' Super Lig rivals Trabzonspor.

Barca step up bids for Rabiot and Todibo


Barcelona have stepped up their efforts to land Ligue 1 pair Adrien Rabiot and Jean-Clair Todibo, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Both the PSG and Toulouse players are out of contract at the end of the season, meaning Barca are free to enter negotiations over free transfers.

In the case of Rabiot, however, the Catalans may face stiff competition from the likes of Juventus and Tottenham over his signature.

Vasco da Gama want FC Dallas midfielder on loan


Brazilian outfit Vasco da Gama are looking to bring Carlos Gruezo in on loan from FC Dallas

Raphael Zarko of Globo Esporte​ reported the interest on Twitter, with the 23-year-old having been a strong contributor to Dallas over the last three years. 

Marseille re-open Balotelli negotiations


Marseille are set to open negotiations back up with Nice, as the club look to land Mario Balotelli. 

France Football claim a meeting has already taken place between key figures from Marseille​ over their winter transfer plans. 

They want to add a striker, and with Juve having pushed back against a move for Moise Kean​, they will now re-open talks with Nice over the Italian. 

FC Cincinnati make offer for Alonso


MLS expansion side FC Cincinnati have made an offer to free agent Osvaldo Alonso, according to

Fulham face uphill battle to sign Gabigol


Inter are prepared to let Gabriel Barbosa go out on loan once more after the youngster relaunched his career in 2018, with Fulham among those leading the way in the battle to sign him.

A move back to Santos saw him rejuvenated over the past 12 months , with Barbosa finishing as Serie A's top scorer with 18 goals to help the Peixe gain a Copa Sudamericana spot.

Bournemouth target Clyne on loan


Bournemouth are attempting to sign Nathaniel Clyne on loan until the end of the season, reports the Mail.

Cardiff City have also expressed an interest in the 27-year-old, but the Cherries want to swoop for Clyne after Adam Smith and Simon Francis both picked up long-term injuries.

Clyne is struggling to get game time ahead of first-choice right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold at Anfield.

Newcastle target AC Milan left-back


Newcastle United are looking to sign AC Milan left-back Diego Laxalt in January, according to Calciomercato.

The Magpies' boss Rafa Benitez has previously admitted his team will likely face relegation if they do not recruit reinforcements this month.

Laxalt has made 13 appearances for Milan this year after signing from Genoa in August, and is a Uruguay international.

Salt Lake City agree deal for Serie A midfielder


MLS side Salt Lake City are set to sign Everton Luiz from Serie A side SPAL, says Gianluca Di Marzio.

The defensive midfielder from Brazil has made 10 league appearances for SPAL this term and, at 30 years of age, is preparing for a new challenge in the USA.

Arsenal turn attention to Pepe after Under bid rejected


Arsenal are targetting Lille's Nicolas Pepe after pulling out of a bid to sign Cengiz Under from Roma, according to Tutto Mercato Web.

The 23-year-old forward has scored 12 times in 19 Ligue 1 appearances so far this term and is renowned for his pace in wide areas.

Arsenal are apparently willing to offer €50 million (£45m/ $57m) for the Ivory Coast international.

Blaszkowski's Wolfsburg contract terminated by mutual consent


Jakub Blaszkowski has parted ways with Wolfsburg after the two parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

The midfielder, who signed from Borussia Dortmund in 2016, has made just one league appearance for the Bundesliga club this season. 

He will now look to find regular first team action elsewhere.

United and Southampton eye Nakajima


Manchester United and Southampton sent scouts to watch Portimonense's striker Shoya Nakajima play Benfica on Wednesday, according to Ojogo.

The Japanese 24-year-old has scored five times and bagged five assists in 13 league appearances this term.

Ronaldo was offered to Napoli


Cristiano Ronaldo was offered to Napoli before making his €100 million (£90m/$114m) move to Juventus.

Sporting director of Napoli, Cristiano Giuntoli, has revealed Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes came to the Naples club before the Old Lady because of his close links to the Azzurri.

However, the financial implications of the deal were ultimately too expensive for Napoli.

QPR eye Taarabt return


QPR are looking to bring Adel Taarabt back to Loftus Road until the end of the season, reports The Sun.

The Moroccan is currently playing for Benfica in Portugal, but is training with the club's reserves after falling out of favour. 

Taarabt developed a reputation for flair and creativity during his previous spells in west London, having originally joined on loan from Tottenham and then signed permanently in 2010, but will need to build up his fitness before returning to first team action.

PSG make huge offer for Ajax duo De Jong & De Ligt


The duo have attracted attention from all over Europe.

PSG have made an offer for Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt that no other club can match, according to Marca.

The French champions have previously admitted they are willing to offer €70 million (£63m/$79m) for de Jong alone, so the latest figure for both youngsters is expected to be considerably more than that.

Manchester City and Barcelona have previously been reported to be interested in the Ajax duo, who are scheduled to face PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League.

No Chelsea move for Higuain in January


Chelsea have ended their interest in signing Gonzalo Higuain in January because negotiating a deal with two separate clubs would be too complicated.

The forward is currently on loan at AC Milan from Juventus and has played under Blues boss Maurizio Sarri during his time at Napoli.

Chelsea are in the market for a new striker after poor goal returns from Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata, and Sarri hinted he is keen for a fresh face after the 0-0 draw with Southampton on Wednesday.

Naldo signs for Monaco


Monaco have announced the signing of Brazilian defender Naldo from Schalke

The 36-year-old centre-back has made just seven Bundesliga appearances this term and will link up with Thierry Henry's side until the summer of 2020.

He ends a 14-year spell in Germany and will aim to add experience to a Monaco team languishing in 17th place in Ligue 1.

Defoe to join Rangers on 18-month loan


Jermain Defoe is set to sign for Rangers on an 18-month loan deal, according to Sky Sports.

The striker is out of favour at Bournemouth after a number of injuries and the goalscoring form of forwards Callum Wilson and Josh King.

Defoe played with Rangers boss Steven Gerrard for England earlier in his career, and will now try to help the Liverpool legend bring a Scottish Premiership title to Ibrox. 

Stockley completes transfer to Preston


Jayden Stockley has completed a £750,000 ($945,000) move from Exeter City to Preston North End, on a three-and-a-half year contract.

The 25-year-old was the most prolific striker in England's top four divisions during 2018, scoring 29 league goals - one more than Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

AC Milan hoping to offload Bertolacci


According to Calcio Mercato, Andrea Bertolacci's AC Milan career may be coming to an end six months ahead of schedule, as the club looks for potential suitors in the January transfer window.

The Italian midfielder's current deal at the San Siro is due to expire in the summer, but the Rossoneri are ready to listen to offers in the winter market.

Bertolacci joined Milan back in 2015 but has fallen out of favour under Gennaro Gattuso this season, featuring in just four Serie A games.

Barca meet with Pavard's representatives


According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Barcelona have held talks with Benjamin Pavard's agents to discuss the possibility of a summer transfer.

Barella would reportedly prefer to remain in Italy, but the two Premier League giants are still monitoring his situation closely.

Benatia pushing for Juve exit


Juventus defender Medhi Benatia is hoping to secure a move away from Turin during the January transfer window, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Morrocan centre-back has fallen out of favour under Massimiliano Allegri in recent times, with just five Serie A appearances to his name this season.

Benatia wants to play regularly elsewhere, with offers from the Premier League and Ligue 1 on the table, but Juve are reluctant to sell midway through the current campaign.

Real Madrid on the verge of signing Mohamed Mizzian


Real Madrid are close to securing the signature of Melilla attacker Mohamed Mizzian, according to Don Balon.

Los Blancos will take the 18-year-old on loan until the end of the season, with the option to make the move permanent thereafter.

Mizzian is likely to join up with Madrid's second string Castilla squad initially, though Santiago Solari may also consider him as a first-team option to replace the injured Mariano Diaz.

Bayern submit second €33m offer for Hudson-Odoi


Bayern Munich continue to pursue Hudson-Odoi

Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, submitting a fresh €33m ($37m, £30m) bid for the 18-year-old on Thursday.

The Bundesliga giants have increased their original offer for the teenage sensation from €22m ($25m, £20m), which was rejected by the Blues on New Year's day.

Hudson-Odoi's current contract at Chelsea expires in 2020 and the club are thought to be keen on tying him down to a long-term extension.

Chelsea youngster Kyle Scott heading back to his parent club


Chelsea will welcome back Kyle Scott six months ahead of schedule after coming to a mutual agreement with second division Dutch side Telstar - as per the club's official website.

The 21-year-old secured a year-long loan at Telstar during the summer and he featured in 14 games for the club, scoring twice.

Scott will now hope to land his first senior-level Chelsea appearance in 2019, having risen through the club's ranks at youth level.

Braithwaite moves to Leganes on loan


Middlesbrough striker Martin Braithwaite has completed a loan switch to Leganes, as announced on the Spanish club's official website.

The 27-year-old will remain in La Liga until the end of the season, after failing to find the net since August in the Championship.

Boro boss Tony Pulis spoke to the media ahead of Braithwaite's move after Tuesday's match against Derby, stating: "He wanted to go in the summer. He has got his move now."

Inter Milan target Serie A duo


Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali and Cagliari's Nicolo Barella are subjects of interest from Inter Milan, according to Calcio Mercato.

Inter are currently looking at alternative options in the middle of the park in case they fail to land Real Madrid playmaker Luka Modric.

The Nerrazzuri may have to fork out huge fees for their pair though, with Tonali valued at €30m ($34m, £27m) while Barella is priced significantly higher at €50m ($57m, £45m).

Napoli eye Lozano swoop


Napoli are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano, according to Calcio Mercato.

The Dutch giants value the 23-year-old at around €35m ($44m, £39m), with his current contract not due to expire until 2023.

Lozano has contributed 11 goals and seven assists in 17 Eredivisie appearances this season and Napoli could launch a bid for his services in January. 

Everton interested in Malcom


Barcelona winger Malcom is the subject of interest from Everton, according to Marca.

The Brazilian has already received lucrative offers from the Chinese Super League and is admired by a number of top European clubs, despite failing to establish himself in Ernesto Valverde's starting XI during his first six months at the Camp Nou.

Everton are now exploring the possibility of bringing Malcom to Goodison Park, but the 21-year-old has no plans to leave Barca during the January transfer window.

Chelsea & Spurs keen on Kessie


Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham are among those considering a summer swoop for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessi, according to TMW.

The 22-year-old Ivory Coast international could be lured away from San Siro in a €40 million (£36m/$46m) deal.

Juventus and RB Leipzig have joined German giants Bayern Munich in the chase to land Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi according to Sky Sports

The report claims that Chelsea are holding out for £30 million ($38m) for their prized prospect and have already turned down a Bayern bid of £20m.

Sarri: I didn't know Chelsea would sign Pulisic


Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted he was in the dark over the club's signing of Christian Pulisic.

The American was brought in on a £58 million (€64m/$73m) deal on Wednesday, and then loaned back to Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season. 

“I didn’t know anything about [signing] Pulisic yesterday," ​Sarri told the BBC following Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Southampton on Wednesday.

Guardiola admits Van Dijk was worth £75m


Pep Guardiola has admitted that Virgil van Dijk is worth every penny of the £75 million Liverpool paid for the Netherlands international last January.

Man City refused to meet Southampton's asking price early last year, clearing the way for Van Dijk to join the Reds.

Eriksen stalls on new deal as Madrid and Barca lurk


The Dane's contract is set to expire at the end of next season

Tottenham star Christian Eriksen has been slow to sign a new contract with the club, encouraging Real Madrid and Barcelona, according to the Daily Mail. 

The 26-year-old's current deal expires in 2020, with Spurs ready to more than double his current £70,000-a-week wages. 

But Eriksen has yet to agreee terms, which has encouraged the lurking Spanish giants, who could both offer far more in wages than Tottenham.

Watford won't sell Doucoure to PSG in January


Watford will refuse to sell midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure to Paris Saint-Germain in January, reports the Evening Standard. 

PSG have identified the 26-year-old as a midfield target for January, with Adrien Rabiot currently frozen out as he looks to leave the club.

But Watford are determined to not disrupt their season, and feel they are in a strong position with Doucoure's contract not expiring until 2023.

Tottenham want Hull City starlet Bowen in January


Tottenham are looking to sign Hull City forward Jarrod Bowen in January, Goal can confirm.

Spurs are targeting a homegrown signing and the 22-year-old would fit the bill, having scored 26 goals in the Championship over the last season and a half.
