Quique Setien is to be appointed as the new manager of Barcelona, according to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jan/13/barcelona-quique-setien-to-replace-ernesto-valverde?CMP=share_btn_tw" target="_blank">Guardian</a>. Ernesto Valverde will become the first Barca manager to be sacked since Louis van Gaal, 17 years ago. The 61-year-old Setien was most recently manager of Real Betis, where he was praised for his attractive, attacking style of football.

Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is close to joining Inter after reaching an agreement in principle with the Italian club, reports <a href="https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/christian-eriksen-close-to-agreeing-move-to-inter-milan-g6d37lggw?" target="_blank">The Times.</a> The Denmark international is set to sign a four-year contract worth around&nbsp;£100,000-per-week&nbsp;to become one of the club's highest-paid players.
